BOOK NOOK
The first week in December is Computer Science in Education Week. We tried out our problem-solving skills with Sphero Indi, a robotic car that is controlled by colored tiles. Students discovered which conditionals caused the car to do different functions. We practiced the science skill of close observation to determine the cause/effect of each color. Technology can be fun!

3rd Grade Track and Field Unit & Multiage Striking Unit
This week, 3rd grade students continued to work on their skills by competing in a mini olympics competition. They were able to practice their sprinting skills, discus throwing, shot put throwing, and long jump. Multiage were able to play a game of cricket to end their striking unit. They also played Fire and Ice to warm up with. Since the holiday shop was being set up in the music room, their second class of the week included music, dancing, and whole class games with another class joining them.
Have a great weekend!
