Switzerland can date back to about 150,000 years ago. In the 4th century, Switzerland's landmass extended to around the modern-day Kings of Burgundians. Many different tribes and people have settled in the Switzerland land. The Swiss Plateau has been a popular place to settle in.

Switzerland started a Federal Constitution in 1848. It is one of the oldest constitutions on the world. The three main governing bodies of the federal level are legislative, executive, and judicial. Their judges are chosen by Federal Assembly for six years.
