From the Middle EMS and ELA

News from the Principal, March 3, 2021

Hello Parents and Families,

Thank you for your participation in parent-teacher conferences. Virtual conferences seems to have some definite benefits--easier to schedule and attend for many--but we definitely miss having our parents in our building.

Thank you for being THE most important part of your child's education. Even at this age, it is important for school staff and parents to work together. We like to see students taking on more responsibility and independence, but we still look forward to working with parents and families as well.

If at any time you need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out.

INCLUSION DAY is March 3rd

We think the world would be better if everyone were included. Around the world, exclusion and discrimination continue to divide people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are changing that with grassroots action for inclusion. That’s Spread the Word.

Upcoming Sports Seasons

Volleyball 2021

Girls volleyball season will be starting the beginning of March. Like basketball, we do not know

if we be allowed to participate against other schools. Be looking for more info.

Track 2021

As of now, we are anticipating having a track season. We will be competing against other

schools. The difference this year is that the meets will be smaller than in the past and there is a

chance we MAY not be able to have spectators. Track will be starting just after Spring Break. IF

YOUR STUDENT WISHES TO PARTICIPATE IN TRACK THEY WILL NEED TO HAVE A SPORTS

PHYSICAL! More info to come.
