Summer Reading Logs
Summer is nearly here and so is summer reading. Summer is a time for fun and recreation, but don't forget to read. Not only is reading a great way to spend your extra time, it is an important tool in retaining what you have learned over the last year. It will also give your a head start on your upcoming school year. As an incentive for you to keep reading over the summer we have provided four options. If you return any of the following to Mrs. Dosier or Mrs. Briggs when school resumes you will receive a prize
- Summer Reading Log
- Completed Weber County Library summer reading packet (sign up at your local public library)
- Reading log from readtoday.com or signed parent statement that log was completed
- Review of free book received from Barnes and Noble after signing up for their summer program (see below)
Jr. High
Reading over the summer is important to keep up your skills. Read 15-20 minutes daily to keep your reading muscles working over the summer.
Fill out the reading log this summer and return it to Miss Witt in the fall for a free book.
