Spelling Bee

Congratulations to Ethan, Ethan and Hannah for a wonderful competition in spelling. The students ended with only 2 words left on the list. Ethan Ward, 8th grade, and Ethan Plier, 6th grade, will represent Lane on January 30th.

Principal's Message

Hello Families!

Happy New Year! We've have had a great start to 2020.

We kicked off our return with an in house competition for Future Cities and our Spelling Bee. Classes are also finishing winter MAP testing as we close the semester. Tonight, January 10th, we are hosting the New Year Dance with DJ Skonecki in the house. Staff and students have a lot of reasons to be Patriot Proud.

2nd semester will officially start January 27th. Please, have your son/daughter access their 2nd semester schedule since there will be some class / teacher changes.

I am happy to share that Ms. Helm will join our staff as a full time building substitute. In addition, Mr. Kochevar will be teaming with Ms. Daul for the remainder of the year. Ms. Wycklendt has decided to stay home with her little ones for the remainder of the school year.

Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see everyone in school next week.

FBLA -- Book Drive in January

FBLA has partnered with the Milwaukee Children’s Hospital.

FBLA will be running a book drive in January because Children's Hospital has a book deficit.

We wanted to reach out to everyone before the holiday season in case you plan to get rid of any books that are like new or see any that you would like to donate to the cause. We will have a book drive box coming to room 106 next week!

Books of all kinds and ages! Only request is “like new”

Future Cities

Ms. Daul and Mr. Kochevar classes participated in an in-house competition for Future Cities. They will send three teams to STEM competition on January 18th.
