Read To Succeed Coronavirus Update

Your students can still receive their free Six Flags tickets, regardless of your classroom situation.

We understand that teachers participating in Read to Succeed are facing unique classroom situations this year.

There are multiple ways your students can complete the program, regardless of whether or not students will be in the classroom or at home by the end of the school year.

One option is to have all of your student's parents register at home. This way they can log their own child's reading, and once they hit six hours we will be able to deliver their child's ticket directly to their email.

To allow parents to register directly, tell them follow these instructions:

  • Register child at sixflags.com/books using code 1U147
  • By April 17, complete the online reading log for your child.
  • We will email parents their Six Flags Over Texas directly in May.

If you have any questions please contact Heather Beach at heather.beach@humbleisd.net.

Box Tops for Education

Did you know that ESE earns 10 cents for each Box Top students turn in? Last year we earned over $2000 from Box Tops that went directly to the teachers to buy supplies for their classrooms. Box Tops are new and improved this year! You can still clip and send them in but Box Tops are now going digital! Simply scan your receipt using the new Box Tops app and it will find all the participating products that you bought and instantly add cash to ESE's earnings online! This year the whole school is working together to reach goals for popsicle parties!

Visit the PTO website for Spirit Shop items, membership dues, party fund, volunteer opportunities and more!
