A Note From Me
I know this day is tough for some. Everyone has a mother but not everyone gets to see or spend time with their mom on this day. I just visited with my mom. My brother and sister were able to spend a great day with her and I got to hear her voice. Life is good! My girls and I were able to spend great time together this weekend-time at the lake, listening to a great band, eating great meals, great time at church, and a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Life is good. I am so fortunate. Happy Mother's Day to all our Mothers.
What a great week we've had! I hope that each of you know how much you are loved and appreciated. Dave and I are very fortunate to call each of you team members. We sure enjoyed sharing a few acts of appreciation throughout the week. We also appreciate the office staff who helped facilitate those acts. I also hope you felt appreciation from your parents. I know how difficult it is to adequately demonstrate how thankful one can be for amazing and dedicated people and their work. You deserve every gift, "thank you," and act of kindness. It was great seeing so many of you having fun ad "playing" throughout the week. I hope you can continue to finds ways to have fun and play throughout the coming days. (Just do it at the rest times.)
Now, what a great week we are about to begin. As I spoke to the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders on Friday, I really meant it. I am so proud of your work and their work this year. There is no way I can ever repay you for your dedication to our students. Your hard work and dedication will give us what we need to be successful. This is the week for encouragement and support. All teachers can find ways to encourage and support students who are being tested, so please do it. They deserve it. Thanks!
Love you all,
Joy

Great Opportunity...
Tuesday is going to be an incredibly busy day but everyone has to eat. Don't forget to take your flyer to Fresco's.
Teachers, Friday's event is a great opportunity to visit with parents, share your appreciation for family support, and continue making relationships. As you know seeing you at campus events speaks volumes. Let PTO know if you're coming and I'm sure they'll have a pastry for you, too.
