Love of Learning

We are so excited to start our Spring semester! This semester we are focused on growth and learning for all students. We want to see all students engaged in learning every day. We are focused on filling the academic needs for our students and pushing our students to do their very best.

Thank you for partnering with us and helping grow this love of learning for all students.

Inclement Weather

Please know Red Oak ISD will be monitoring the weather Sunday and will notify staff and families of any changes in the regular school day. In the event of inclement weather, the decision to open, delay start, or close schools will be made no later than 6 a.m. on the day in question.

While we make every effort to hold school, we encourage families to have emergency childcare plans in place should the ISD close or delay yet parents need to report to their employment.

For additional information about the district’s inclement weather procedures, please visit the Red Oak ISD website at

Picture Retakes - January 15

We will have picture retakes on January 15. Please watch for a schedule for all virtual students. An email will be sent later this week. Students that did not have pictures taken in the Fall will have an opportunity.

Reminder about Dress Code

As a reminder, students must follow Red Oak I.S.D. dress code guidelines every day. To review the dress code, click the link below.

Mask Up Every Day!

We've recently noticed an increase in students arriving at school without a mask. We have a limited number of disposable masks on campus. Please ensure your child has a mask when they arrive at school each day. We appreciate your cooperation in helping keep our students healthy!

Water Bottles

Students are encouraged to bring a disposable water bottle from home each day, rather than using the water fountains to help slow the spread of COVID-19. For ROISD's health and safety protocols, click the link below.

Connect with Kids Character Education Website

Red Oak ISD has launched a new website for Connect with Kids Character Education specifically for our Red Oak ISD students, staff, and families to address social and emotional learning. Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.

The platform allows the user to sign-up to view videos and interactive content on a variety of topics from health and wellness, bullying, and drug use prevention. It also has a video library of character traits such as integrity, respect, and gratitude. There is also a special section linked to Defining US that provides resources specific to social justice.

Information will come soon regarding individual accounts.

Parents and family are encouraged to join the ROE PTA. We are excited to get started with our annual memberships. Please join our ROE PTA by visiting You will select Red Oak ISD as the district and select Red Oak Elementary as the campus. This will allow us to start our PTA drive virtually for the 2020-2021 school year. Watch for more information as the school year continues.
