2015-2016 Kindergarten Roundup Statistics
At our next staff meeting, we will being looking at early learning data from kindergarten round up. The data shows results from the preschool survey given during round up. The survey measures how many students went through round up, how many attended a preschool of any kind, and how many students attended our local preschools. School readiness skills are also measured and percentages of student at and below benchmarks are revealed. Follow up Fall data including kindergarten DiBELs and DRA are also reported. Result are encouraging, and the increase in our preschool population during the last several years has significantly increased! I look forward to sharing this data with you and having meaningful conversation regarding readiness measurements and what we should be striving for when it comes to preparing our preschoolers for success.
