DeRenne Middle School
Medical Allied Health & Advance Learning Academy - November
Greetings from our Principal
Is your child logging into Homeroom? Homeroom begins at 7:40, your child’s homeroom teacher is their anchor to school; their source of information and the opportunity to receive individual guidance and support daily. Regular attendance to homeroom clears up confusion. Make sure your child is plugged in to the right source… homeroom.
Tuesdays during homeroom, we implement our schoolwide Social and Emotional Learning curriculum. Second Step, our current unit, students are learning to develop a growth mindset and apply research-based goal-setting strategies to their social and academic lives.
Thank you for partnering with DeRenne Middle School to ensure your child is successful. We will have a good week with your assistance.
