  • We hope everyone had a wonderful summer and has been enjoying the first weeks of school. Our administrators have said that the transition has been going smoothly on all grade levels and we hope the same is true at home.

Volunteer Opportunities

We are in need of volunteers for various, ongoing services we provide to the schools.

  • Laminating Projects- you make your own hours at the school. Training will be provided!
  • Regular Copying- Come to help an hour or so a week doing copying for staff
  • Clothing Closet Helper- Help out in the PTSA room to organize donated clothing/shoes

There are many other ways to help, and new ideas and faces are always welcome! Send an email to if you are interested in hearing more.

Save Around Rochester Coupon Books

Coupon books will be on sale beginning September 19th. This is our PTSA's largest fundraiser and provides the majority of the year's budget. Order forms will be sent home through the classrooms. These books make great gifts and can be purchased for regions nationwide! We will also be accepting monetary donations of any amount in lieu of book orders if you prefer. Your support is greatly appreciated!

Principal Interview Volunteers needed

We are looking for parent volunteers to assist in interviewing candidates for the Primary/Elementary school Principal position that is open. You must be available on October 13th or October 25th. For details or to express interest, please contact PTSA President Julie Henry at

Mother-Son Night

Friday, Oct. 28th, 6:30-8pm

This annual (and FREE!) event is a fun way for our boys to spend special time with that special woman in their life. Several games and activities will take place in the Elementary South Gym and light refreshments will be available. Ticket order form will be sent home with the students.

CA Volleyball Booster Pancake Breakfast

Annalise's Friends Annual 5K Run/Walk

Come to Baker Park to run or walk to support the fight against children's cancer. This run honors Kya Bach & Mackenzie Bennett and is in memory of Annalise Pelton who was only 7 years old when she lost her battle with Stage IV Neuroblastoma. Please visit for more information. Kindergarten Connection- Class of 2017

One of the goals for the Class of 2017 is to connect with the littlest Braves. We have partnered with the class of 2029 and we are excited to meet them! Community Reading Partnership

Help spread literacy in our community! A Volunteer Bookshelf Supervisor is needed by the Community Reading Partnership to oversee “Guardian” volunteers who stock 15 to 20 active Little Red Bookshelves in the Canandaigua area with free books.

This person should be reasonably familiar with children’s books and able to oversee the processing of books donated at locations in Canandaigua schools. The Bookshelf Supervisor sits on the Community Reading Partnership Board which meets monthly at the library.

National Walk to School Day

Save the Date! Our schools are participating in a National Walk to School Day. Click here to view a letter to all district parents that describes how the day will be executed in each building. In an effort to connect parents in same neighborhoods who would like to walk together, this form has been created to collect information and put parents in touch with each other.
