GAC Hall of Fame
Last year, the Gateway Athletic Conference initiated a Hall of Fame to recognize players/coaches/school personnel that have impacted high school sports in our area. The GAC was created in 1971 with 5 charter member schools (Francis Howell, Ft. Zumwalt, Duchesne, Wentzville & Orchard Farm). Currently there are 17 schools divided into 3 divisions. The first HOF class included 20 inductees. This year, 15 inductees will be added. I am proud to announce that Vince Nowak (FHN’s former Head Soccer Coach), and Jeremy Iwaszkowiec (FHN Class of 1995, Soccer Player) will be inducted into the 2016 GAC Hall of Fame. Vince and Jeremy are members of the inaugural class in the FHN Athletic Hall of Fame. You can read each of their Bio’s at http://fhnknights.org/main/alumnitr
The GAC HOF induction will be on May 25th at the annual GAC BBQ at Old Town St. Peters Park.
