Gifted and Talented Referral Deadline
November 1, 2019--Gifted and Talented Referral Deadline
Parents may request a referral for Gifted and Talent assessment by turning in the Parent Referral Form to the campus counselor no later than November 1, 2019. Please refer to the BISD Gifted and Talented website to access the Parent Referral form as well as for more information regarding G/T referral procedures and service design. Learn more here What is Gifted?
Library Volunteers Needed
We are looking for volunteers to help in the school library for one hour a week. You can volunteer during your child's library time. (Class schedule posted online with volunteer sign-up so you can check your child's library time). As the class comes in, you will help check in and shelve books and then help kids find new books and check out. That's it. Pretty simple, but it's a critical role because we anticipate nearly 1,000 books moving through the library each week.
We will do some basic training the next two weeks and shifts begin the first week of October. We need 40 volunteers each week, so please consider serving in this way!
Learn more and sign-up on our PTO website. Questions? Please contact Amy Robinson.
Donuts with Grownups
Students are invited to bring a favorite grownup to school on Wednesday, October 2 at 6:50 a.m. to enjoy donuts, coffee and conversation before school in the courtyard. This is an opportunity to show our students how much we value our time with them.
Please RSVP by 9/30.
We will hold a Donuts with Grownups breakfast on the first Wednesday of every month.
