PTA Messages

AsSalaamu Alaikum Parents, Teachers, Staff, and Students.

The first week back to school after a long break is always a transition. Alhamdullilah we have made it into the second week and things seem like they are back to normal at our school. PTA is working on new projects and planning for the rest of the school year.

We would like to ask PTA members for your feedback. Please let us know if you have any ideas or thoughts to share. If you have an idea for a project or event, or you are interested in planning and coordinating an event, please share this with us. We look for and welcome your ideas!

PTA Coffee & Conversation

PTA invites you to join us for our February General Assembly Meeting. Please come, drink coffee, and offer your thoughts, ideas, feedback, and concerns. We want to hear them and we welcome you.

When: Wednesday, February 10th

Time: 9:15 - 10:15

Where: Allisonville Campus Cafe

Note: Please drop your students using the car line as usual, park, and come in through the main entrance. Should we have a weather delay, the meeting will be rescheduled.

School Security Survey

School security is a top priority for students, teachers, and parents. The newly elected School Board has created a survey for parents to complete, with the intention of learning what the majority of parents/teachers want for our school security. PTA has sent the survey and we ask that you please take the time to complete it. Your voice is extremely important in this matter!

PTA suggestion box

PTA has a suggestion box located just inside the main entrance at the Allisonville Campus. Comments, questions, or concerns can be left in this box. You may choose to do this anonymously. All information is shared by the PTA President with the School Board directly.

Robotics Program

To help welcome students back to school last week PTA arranged for a fun visitor. 1st - 12th grade students had the opportunity to take part in a Robotics assembly. Mr. Jack Burrus, an educator and robotics expert, brought in several robots for the students to interact with and observe. The students really seemed to enjoy seeing the different ways programming allows robots to move.

We had a nice turn out of students who participated in the Reflections Competition this year. All entries submitted have been judged and awards were announced at the January assembly.

PTA would like to offer a special "thank you" to Ala'a Alqawassmi. She coordinated the entire Reflections program this year!

The below students all received special recognition by the Eman School judges for their submissions. PTA thanks you, Ms. Greene and Mrs. Deubner, for your time and effort in judging this important competition. Those students who received an "Award of Excellence" will move on to the State competition.
