We Believe
Our vision is to prepare students to be self-directed learners who are literate, creative, curious, civic-minded citizens who demonstrate civility, order, respect and excellence in school and in life.
Our mission is to ensure the intellectual and emotional growth of every student while promoting civility, order, respect, and excellence. We recognize that each student can and must succeed in an environment enriched with support, encouragement, and accountability.
Dear Parents,
NWEA TESTING - Wow! What a week! Students have been engaged in their third round of NWEA testing for this school year. NWEA is an assessment that measures student growth over time. I have heard so many success stories about high growth and achievement from our teachers and kids! NWEA testing continues next week - be sure to ask your student how they did on their assessments! You will receive a score report with Term 4 report cards on June 4.
5th GRADE FIELD TRIP - This morning, we sent 125 fifth-graders to Louisville for their annual end of year trip. Students were excited and energized as they boarded buses for a fun-filled day of sightseeing! Next Friday, our sixth-graders will be traveling to Cincinnati. We are so grateful to all parents/guardians who volunteered to chaperone the trips this year!
5th GRADE OPEN HOUSE - Raymond Park Intermediate Academy invites all parents and incoming 5th Graders to an informative night about all of the exciting things that will happen at RPIA in the 2018-2019 school year. Please make plans to attend our Open House, meet with our school staff and tour our building on Monday - May 14, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK - We had a wonderful week celebrating the hard work and dedication of our teachers and staff members! Our PTSA helped make the week extra special for everyone. We truly have a team of adults here at RPIA who go above and beyond for our students every day!
FROM THE NURSE - If your child has any medication in the clinic, please make arrangements to have these picked up from school by an adult by June 4, 2018. That adult will be required to sign out the medication. In adherence with the Warren Township medication policy, no medications will be sent home on the bus. Medications cannot remain in the clinic over the summer. If you do not pick up the medication by June 4, it will be disposed of. This includes all over-the-counter medication as well as prescription medication. Reminder letters will be sent home during the month of May. For any questions, please call the clinic at (317) 532 - 8900.
Thank you for taking a moment to read about the great things happening in Warren Township and at your school - Raymond Park Intermediate Academy.
