As the year comes to a close, we want to thank all those who made a conscious effort to reduce their waste by using re-usable containers in students' lunchboxes. The Middle School Student Council did an excellent job at promoting trash-free lunches and now we would like to make an even greater effort as a school next year.
We strongly encourage students to utilize re-usable containers in the lunchboxes next year, so please use the summer to purchase re-usable containers!
MSA Community Feeding Station
If you are an animal/ cat lover, we are hoping you could help us this summer with our MSA Community Feeding Station, which has been running for the past 6 years. There are 12 cats, and with the exception of one, all are neutered or spayed. The station is located across from MSA, secured behind a locked gate.
We would provide food for the time you commit to feeding and a key for access to the feeder. We have been feeding twice a day: early morning and evening (dinner time). Ideally for each day we are looking for someone to do an early morning feeding (6:30 -8:00 am) and another early evening-dinnertime feeding (around 5:00 -8:00 pm). The dates we need volunteers are 27 June - 28 August inclusive.
Any time you could spare -- a day, a morning or an evening -- would be very much appreciated! We can be contacted by email email@example.com or phone 292-4134 extension 1953.
