December 2015 Newsletter
A Message from the APHS Leadership Team:
December signifies that we are nearly one-third through our school year. While it may feel like the 2015-16 school year just began, we are reminded that time progresses rapidly and planning for the remainder of the year is important. In addition, we will soon release the 2016-17 Guide to Program Planning - there will be adjustments to our curricular programs, in addition to new course offerings. We encourage you to review the Guide when it is made available, to help plan for next year's courses.
In the meantime, the second quarter interim period is drawing near. Please continue to monitor academic progress and encourage students to stay after school for extra help when arranged with a teacher. Additionally, the Library and Mezzanine are open after school for students who need time to complete assignments and study - the library is open daily and the Mezzanine is open for students Tuesdays through Thursdays after school.
Congratulations to all students who earned Honor & High Honor Roll status in Quarter 1! The dedication of our students towards their studies is commended, and we look forward to continued academic achievements by all of our students. The lists for Academic Honors can be found here: http://goo.gl/eMJyKD
