The Weekly Hoot
May 8-14, 2017
Greetings All -
Well, I hope you feel appreciated this week! We have done our best, and of course, even with all of the food and fun surprises, it is never enough to truly show you just how much you mean to this school. You all truly are some of the most dedicated individuals I have ever met and I am proud you are part of my work tribe!
A couple of things...
If you have not electronically signed your SLO, please make sure that you do that ASAP so we can get all of that finished.
If you are in a testing room for next week, please make sure that have your room "test ready" for Monday so that we are ready to go Monday morning.
I know that next week is going to be wild and wooly with testing and field trips. Please keep everything as normal as possible for your kiddos so that we can keep disruptions to a minimum.
37 people voted on our school theme for next year. With the top vote being different biomes, you all should really be able to be creative. I am good with each hall choosing their own biome (desert, arctic tundra, ocean, grassland, rainforest, mountains, etc...), but it will be first come, first serve. Also, we are trying to think of a "catchy" saying for the whole school that incorporates the theme so if you can, think about that as well. Let me know what biome your hall wants as soon as possible. Thanks!
I hope everyone goes out and has a great weekend. This weekend is pretty laid back for Donovan and myself before we begin what looks like 8-9 weekends straight of "something to do." I'm going to enjoy the "nothingness" of this weekend!
Love to all -
Marcy
