PSAT/NMSQT - October 16 (10th & 11th grade), October 23 (9th grade)

Fall testing is a few short weeks away!

Three reasons why the PSAT is important:

1) Strong PSAT scores can lead to scholarships

2)Good scores can indicate performance on the SAT - students can design a KHAN Academy study program based on their fall scores!

3) Doing well can provide a big confidence boost - test anxiety and fear of the unknown can have a negative impact on the test taker. This exam helps to give you an advantage for taking the exam in the spring!

October 16 & 23 are ATTENDANCE DAYS for ALL STUDENTS! School starts at 8:00 am, doors open at 7:35 - students should get there early! Make sure your student eats breakfast before the exam - it is 3 hours long! (School breakfast is available as well)

Students should bring the following with them:

  • Pencils
  • Calculator (available in the school store for $20)
  • Student ID

No electronic devices allowed in the testing room

After testing concludes, students will return to their normal schedule and finish the day at 3:16pm

Students who are not testing on these days are expected to attend school There are events happening for each grade level. Attendance is important!
