James Baldwin
James Baldwin was an African American that portrayed the regular struggles of an African American living in America. The main struggles he portrayed was racial injustice and discrimination towards basically all races not just African Americans.
Minorities
Many different minorities barely ever had T.V, it was also hard enough to even find a job so they couldn't afford to buy a T.V or much of anything. Mexicans for example were in need of jobs desperately, it goes to show one example of which minorities needed jobs.
Baby Boom!
During the 1950's and 1960's there was a huge up rise in how many babies there were in the United States. The population had increased greatly by this time and women no longer were required to work or have jobs, they stayed home and tended to the child.
