Dear Families,

All classes were introduced to cup stacking this week by retired GPS teacher, Dan Kimmer. What fun! We are looking forward to starting a cup-stacking club/team that will train regularly and compete virtually against other schools.

Volleyball practices will continue on Mondays and Wednesdays at lunch for our co-ed team. They will participate in an upcoming co-ed inter-school tournament on December 9th.

The deadline for families to contact the Salvation Army for Christmas Hampers is Friday November 26th, they will be providing gift cards in place of food hampers. Please reach out to the school if your family could benefit from this.

This week, in recognition of Bullying Awareness/Prevention week we will have:

1.Positive message music each morning as we enter the building

2. Daily messages on the school announcements

3. Encourage students to complete the school climate survey

4. Hold a Safe and Caring Schools Committee Meeting

5. Pink Shirt Day Friday

We value kindness and acceptance every week, but this week is a good time to highlight it.

Looking forward to another great week ahead,

Jean Paquin, Principal & Emily Stephen, Vice Principal ;
