Biopoem

Eli

Hardworking, honest, generous

Husband of Henrietta Edwards, Father of 4 children

Who loved inventing, solving problems, and finding out how things work

Who was lonely sometimes, overworked, but loved to get a job done

Who feared having no companionship, feared not fulfilling his part of a contract, and feared his new manufacturing process would be rejected

Who invented the cotton gin, a new manufacturing process, and helped both the Northern and Southern United States

Who wanted to see his "uniformity system" fully accepted, his contract fulfilled, and his family grow up.

Born in Massachusetts, living in a house on the land of his New Haven factory
