Puppy Pal News
Brought to you by Mrs. Pernick and Mrs. McIntosh
Love is in the air!! The Puppy Pals are very excited about Valentine's day and they can't wait to share their poems and songs with you on Poetry day. We hope you all can join us for the morning. We will begin around 8:30 and it will be finished by 9:30. We would love it if you can bring your Valentines to school by Thursday at the latest. We will be delivering them on Thursday in the morning. Please be sure to have a valentine for each Puppy Pal. We now have 15 in our class. We will send you a copy of the class list.
The children are truly enjoying our unit on Fairy Tales. They want to keep finding more and more versions of familiar stories and they love pointing out what makes them make believe. It is so fun to see the joy in their eyes when they see the silly things that are happening in the stories. We are busy recording the children's endings to certain fairy tales and then making them into QR codes. They sure love hearing their voices.
We are having a lot of fun talking about math at morning meeting. The children love being a part of the equation and counting each of their friends to answer the questions. Getting them excited about learning is our job and we sure love seeing how happy it makes them.
We are still going outside each day and as you could tell from their snow pants on Friday, it is really muddy out there! Please continue to send snow pants, boots, hats and mittens each day. We will guarantee you that they will come home filthy on Friday!!!!
We enjoyed a lovely Teacher Appreciation Luncheon on Friday at the BAC. It was fun visiting with teachers from the junior school and the lunch was lovely. Thank you!
Thank you TJ for the fun snacks this week! Your friends loved them.
Please remember that we have no school the week of February 15. School will resume on February 22. We hope you had a nice birthday weekend Mrs. McIntosh. Best wishes for many more!
