Monday: LGBTQ Bullying Awareness
Purple Monday
Macklemore, Same Love - Lyrics
Take Action
LGBTQ stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning. These people are five times as more likely to miss school because they feel unsafe after being bullied for their sexual orientation. Nine out of ten LGBTQ teens have acrtually reported this harassment. Bullying can have negative affects on the devolpment and mental wellness of LGBTQ students. Some factors are extreme anxienty, depression, low self esteem, and thoughts of suicide. If you are being bullied, or see someone being bullied because of their sexuality, or for any other particular reason, you should report it. We must all take some type of action and make an #IMPACT to stop bullying.

Stop Bullying on the Spot
Bullying can threaten students physical and emotional safety at school and can negatively impact their ability to learn. The best way to address bullying is to stop it before it starts. Don't ignore it, it'll never end that way.
