This class counts as a 4th year science credit or an elective depending on what the student needs. 40% of our time is in labs, either chemistry or foods labs.

Future Labs: Pies, Cream Puffs, Marshmallows and Fudge

The Holidays are Approaching

We are currently in our leavening agent unit. We have looked at baking powder, baking soda, and yeast. We will be looking at steam as another leavening agent as we make cream puffs. We will then begin our Carbohydrate Unit. In anticipation of the holidays, we will make pies and fudge. We will make our own marshmallows to put into the fudge.
