  • Awaiting Updated Guidance from CDPH
  • EUSD Website Update
  • Welcome New Principals at Capri, Mission Estancia, and Ocean Knoll

Dear Families,

It is hard to believe we are just two weeks away from concluding this monumental school year. The next two weeks are filled with those traditional activities that mark the end of the year and engage students in fun, albeit reimagined! We are especially looking forward to our in-person promotion ceremonies to celebrate our sixth graders!

This week, our Encinitas Union School District Board of Trustees heard updates on the work of our planning committees for the 2021/2022 school year. The presentation can be accessed at this link. Current guidance and plans will be in place through the end of this school year and summer school. Please know we are still awaiting the newest guidance from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for the 2021/2022 school year. As soon as that becomes available, we will share this information with families and prepare our plans accordingly.

Andrée Grey, Ed.D.

EUSD Website Update

We are pleased to announce that we have unveiled a new website. Our team worked to ensure the new website would match the needs of our end users, our community. You will find easy to use icon buttons, calendar options and easy to use pull down menus. We are currently working to update all of our individual school site websites. Please take a moment to see our new look!

Welcome New Principals!

We are excited to announce 3 new principals who will take the helm at their respective school sites for the 2021-2022 school year. Please join us in welcoming them to EUSD!

  • Stacy Crum, Principal of Capri Elementary
  • Megan Power, Principal of Mission Estancia Elementary
  • Claudia Bugarin, Principal of Ocean Knoll Elementary

We want to thank the staff and parents that provided input and served on the selection panels. We are thrilled to have 3 top notch leaders joining our district.
