Brainstorming, Resource Sharing, Thought Provoking Comments

We're trying something a bit different this Chat!
Ready, Set, Chat!
Let's share ideas, provide resources, ask questions, celebrate a success story on a variety of UDL concepts.
For example, if the topic is executive functioning, I might chat: "I found a new app I am using called 2Do! I enter tasks I need to remember, and get daily reminders for them. It is helping me stay organized so that I am successful in accomplishing my "to do list!"
Another possible chat response: "In our 7th grade team, we are focused on explicitly teaching students how to break down lengthy assignments into manageable tasks. It has been amazing how more independent students are becoming with this skill!"
Here are our topics for June 6, 2018:
1) Goal setting and monitoring progress
2) Recruiting interest, optimizing authenticity
3) Self-assessment and reflection
4) Mastery oriented feedback
5) Graduated levels of support/scaffolding
6) Instructional and assistive technologies
7) Strengthening vocabulary skills
There are no wrong answers, so chat freely and engage with each others' ideas!
