How is science involved in snowboarding?

Gravity pulls you down the hill. It's what makes your snowboard go.
When you go off a jump, gravity pulls you back down to Earth.
Snow and ice have less friction. The less friction you have, the faster you can move down the hillside.
You feel force when you turn on a snowboard. Your leg muscles get a good workout.
