Enrollment Goal for 2019-2020
The Five Attributes of Successful Schools
3. Ongoing Evaluation
The third attribute of a successful school is the ongoing screening of student performance and development. Schools should use assessment data to compare their students with others from across the country. Effective use of assessment data allows schools to identify problematic areas of learning at the classroom and school levels, so that teachers can generate solutions to address the problems.

More Than School Spotlights.......
“Orgullo”
My name is Yanet Padron and I am senior at Cherokee High School. As you know Mr.Balta is taking students to Puerto Rico this school year and I am one of those students who has gotten the opportunity to go. Although, I am trying to fundraise to help me get there because my family doesn’t have enough money to pay all of it out of pocket. I have got in contact with a foundation that helps people create shirts to raise money for missions trips, and other fundraiser and trips. We designed shirt for Hispanic Heritage Month. The shirt will be pictured down below. The word “Orgullo” means Pride. It would be great way for teachers to celebrate the few Hispanic students in the Colbert County System, allowing us to feel like we are special during one month of the school year. $20

Liberty Legacy
We could say Libby Liberty™ came to town to help more than 275 students from Colbert
County kick off the Super Citizen
Program. We could tell you how they’ll learn civics, character and financial
literacy now that the kick off is over. We could go on and on about how they
said the Pledge, sang the songs–and how they were visibly emotional about
starting their next chapter.
We could go on and on. But we think their smiling faces tell a better story.
So, check out this photo gallery to see students, local leaders, press and parents you
may know.
