Phase II Begins!
Staying Informed is Key
Do you remember that song "Why are there so many songs about Rainbows" by Kermit the Frog? Well, did you know that there are around 27 songs about rainbows? This is quite a difference from the roughly 960,000 songs about another topic that I will mention later in my newsletter. Try and guess what that topic is for now.
I am sharing this fun fact to remind us how easy it is to get caught up in the small pieces of information we receive throughout our busy lives. Live news and headlines in a newspaper or on a webpage are sometimes all we have time for, but they only give us a small portion of the story. To truly get the full story, we need to read the entire article and research further. Who has time for that? I can admit that I don't always have time for that, myself. That's why it is so important for me to have a reliable source to count on.
With a possible second wave of the virus approaching, it is really important that we understand how this information affects us and our community. Mr. Pendergrast continues to lead with facts and provide the district and community with current and accurate information so that we can all be informed and stay safe. I urge you to continue to stay informed on this matter and continue to do your part to help us stay in school. Your dedication to wearing masks, exercising good health practices, staying home, and other sacrifices made along the way to maintain a safe environment for your family is appreciated. Please continue to view the district website for information. Thank you for helping us keep our schools open.
Keep Up the Good Work
