The Hungate Echo
Sherburn Hungate Weekly News - Autumn Term 2 - Issue 6
A word from Mr Broom.
Another highlight of my week was yesterday afternoon. I taught our wonderful reception children for the afternoon. We enjoyed some 'funky fingers' fine motor skills work followed by some wonderful singing and then some number work in maths. The children were a credit to our school and their parents!
Next week, it's our Christmas nativity programme (further information below). I've seen some of the rehearsals and you're in for a real treat.
Finally, the forecast of heavy snow for Sunday is one to watch out for. Please keep an eye on the website and your text messages for information. School will be open unless you hear otherwise.

Please note that even if your child is in our Nursery, you must still apply for a place.

The overall attendance this week rose to 96.4% and is back above national averages. Many thanks for your continued support with this.

Also, could I please ask that if you bring little ones along and they become distressed, please will you make your way out of the performance. Several of our children may only have one line and I'd ask that you respect their opportunity to perform.
