Hello everyone!
Thank you to the Instruction and Pedagogy Unit for a fabulous Summer Break this week….and to the Early Childhood Unit for last week. It’s such a treat to take a few minutes and have the chance to get to know everyone a little better!
Our Alignment Team retreat was yesterday, and we had the chance to consider ways that we might engage in interdepartmental work. Mike shared a quote from Michael Fullan’s work with us that resonated with me - “What pulls people in is meaningful work in collaboration with others.” We will talk more about this as a department in the fall.
Please don’t forget that our DSS Summer Party is next week – Friday, August 23, at 6:30 pm at my home (22 Telford Drive, Troy). If you haven’t had the chance yet, please let me know if you plan to join us!
Happy Friday – enjoy these last few weeks of summer!
