Message from the Principal

Hello Wildcat families-

I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to remind you all that Student/Teacher conferences are set for October 29th and 30th. A link went out yesterday for online sign ups. Please contact your teacher or the office if you have any questions.

I also wanted you to know that our teachers have been seeking out feedback around our distance learning model over the last several weeks. We are drafting school improvement goals and will continue to seek out your input through Google Form surveys. I know that you get lots of emails these days but please take time to provide feedback when given the opportunity. It helps us get better.

As I've mentioned before, we are paying close attention to the social and emotional health or our students. Next week's theme is Building Relationships. Below are links to some family videos focusing on: Relationship Skills and Being a Good Listener.

In addition to this work we continue to build our tools for being anti-bias teachers. As we develop our school curriculum and instruction in these areas, I will be asking for families for feedback and to help us evolve school goals. We are looking forward to bringing our Latino Parent Group, our Parents of Black Students and our PSO into these conversations next month. Again, your input helps us improve.

Have a great weekend Wildcats. Let us know if you need anything.

Mr. Blasquez/Mr. B, Principal

Mensaje del director

Hola familias Wildcat-

Message from our School Nurse

Parents and guardians: Just a note that despite the fact that we're not at school in person yet, the state of Oregon still asks that our kids keep their immunizations current (not only as a state requirement, but to keep them safe and healthy during this upcoming winter!). Thank you so much - if you have any questions or need help with your child's immunizations, please contact Trey Parker, RN at tparker@ttsd.k12.or.us, or call 503-431-4190
