Homecoming Week Details and Expectations
We love Homecoming and everything that comes with it, here at the Junior High. We want all of our students to feel like they are able to be involved in the festivities. Below are details regarding some of the events for Junior High Students.
Dress Up Days
All Students are encouraged to participate in all dress up days. We will be taking pictures to share daily and there will be a prize for the students that show the most school spirit throughout the week.
We will select 2 students from each grade level.
Reminders for Dress Up Days
- Hats and Sunglasses are allowed if they are part of your themed outfit.
- Dress code still applies
- You must be able to participate fully in your classes including PE
- The costume must not distract from the educational process
Homecoming Friday
Friday will include Green and Gold Day as well as the JH Homecoming Games and the District Wide Assembly. Please note that if you need to pick your child up prior to dismissal on Friday, we ask that you pick them up prior to 1:00pm. It will be difficult for our staff to get messages or to excuse students during the JH Homecoming Games and District Pep Assembly.
JH Homecoming Games - Friday
On Friday afternoon starting at 1:00pm, all JH students will have the opportunity to participate in school wide games. We will operate in teams according to 2nd hour and rotate through a series of games. The games are designed to involve all students and provide them with an opportunity for fun with their classmates.
District Assembly
Following the JH Homecoming Games our students will enter the gym to participate in the District Wide assembly. All students K-12 will be included in the Pep Assembly. Students from all grade levels will be selected to participate in games.
After School Activities
Reminder that students are not allowed to remain in the building after school unless they are supervised by an adult. If your student is planning to stay for a sporting event, they must exit the building until doors open for the event.

Halloween Dance Details coming soon.....
We are in the process of planning our annual Halloween Dance, a no referral party. Details will be coming soon for our first Dance of the school year. A no referral party is an opportunity to celebrate our students that consistently meet behavior expectations. Students qualify to attend by not having any behavior referrals for the month of October.
