Little Panthers Cheer Clinic (form due 9/27)
Sharpening Skills in 4th Grade
Fourth grade students have been working on sharpening their skills during small group reading and math. This time is set aside for spiral review, practicing new skills, reteaching skills, and providing enrichment opportunities.
In reading, students have been practicing reading vocabulary, spelling patterns, using context clues, cause and effect, and visualizing while they are reading.
In math, students have been learning place value through millions, reading and writing numbers in three ways, comparing and ordering numbers, rounding numbers, and adding and subtracting whole numbers.

High School Senior Leadership Assembly
The senior class participated in the School Unity Project led by Bill Cordes on Tuesday, September 19th in the KPAC. This program is designed to empower students to create a better school culture through positive and personal peer interaction. Mr. Cordes used a unique blend of humor, stories, activities, and random interactions to engage and teach positive strategies to the seniors, that will enhance their lives.
During the assembly students reflected on their relationship choices they have made in the past and how they can make better choices about relationships in the future.
