Red Ribbon Week – Last week of October – Red Ribbon Week is celebrated in schools

Halloween – Although we won’t be able to host our annual Halloween Spooktacular
this year we are inviting our students to wear their Halloween costumes to school on Friday,
October 29th. Face coverings are still required and costume masks should be brought to
school in our students’ backpacks for safety purposes.
In closing, we look forward to an educationally productive school year. Please read to
and with your children each night! Educational research overwhelmingly shows this is one of
the most important activities in developing and enhancing both language and reading skills
among elementary-aged children. We invite you to visit the “Student Resources” section of our website for fun and interactive educational links.
Please visit the Forked River School’s website daily at http://frs.laceyschools.org for important upcoming events.
Sincerely,
The Forked River School Staff
