What We Are Doing Now
Language/Phonics: Compound/Complex Sentences, Conjunctions, Prepositions,-able/-ible words
Math: Rules of Divisibility, Decimal Division, Prime and Composite Numbers Review
Recommended IXL skills to practice this week: F.4, D.3, D.10
Science: Electricity and Magnetism- Look for study guide to come on toward the end of the week for a test on Wednesday, October 7
Social Studies: Civil War Study - causes, major events and consequences- Quiz on Thursday
What's Up and Coming
October 1 Fifth Grade Math Tutoring after school with Mrs. Mejia
****Parents must sign a permission slip. This will run the following Thursdays:
October 1, October 8, (NO TUTORING ON OCTOBER 16-Homecoming Parade at
NHS), October 22, October 29, November 5, November 12, November 19)
This tutoring is after school from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Parents must be in the car line
at 3:20. Thank you.
October 6 Fifth Grade Program in the Gym (Mark your calendars!)
Students will be performing dances they learn from around the world. Please RSVP in the newsletter or on the form that will come home on Monday in Eagle folders.
