Plate Tectonics Evidence

Continental Drift
This was a theory that explained how continents shift position on Earth's surface. This was set forth in 1912 by Alfred Wegner. A geophysicist and meteorologist continental Drift also explained why look-alike animal and plant fossils and similar rock formations are found on different continents.
Fossil Evidence
Fossils are essentially clues that have been left behind by various forms of living things. They are instrumental tools for understanding the diverse groups of organisms that have inhabited our planet at one time or another. A fossil is any preserved evidence of an organism.
Plate tectonics
The theory of earths outer shell it divides into several plates that glide over a mantle. Rocky inner layer above the core explaining the structure of earths crust. Many associated phenomena as resulting from the infection of rigid litosphere plates that move very slowly over the underying mantle.
Sea Floor Spreading
The process occur at mid ocean ridges. New oceanic crust is also formed through volcanic activity. Then moves away from the ridge earthquake and volcano mapping for more hazard may be defined as the possibility for harm. Formation of new areas of oceanic crust which occurs through the the upwelling of magma.
Hot Spots
A small area or region with a relatively hot temperature in compression to its surroundings.
A place or significant activity or danger hotspots by a narrow stream of hot mantle of hot mantle. Convecting up from the mantle core boundary called a mantle plume.
