Week of February 4-8

REMINDERS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Letters of Intent:

Letters will go out on Monday and are due back to me no later than the 11th. I will have a folder in my box for you to place your letter.


Progress Reports:

Progress reports will be emailed out on Thurs., Feb. 7th at 4:00. Grades should be updated regularly so parents are not surprised. Make sure you have the minimum number of grades and they are dispersed fairly to give an accurate picture. This is especially important if your grades are weighted.


CSW:

Thank you for making CSW a success. The committee did a fantastic job or organizing activities. Our annual pancake fundraiser made approximate $400 after expenses. Compliments to the cooks :)


Book Fair:

The Book Fair was great! We made over $3000. Thank you, Mrs. Lozano!


Field Trips:

It is time to begin thinking about your Spring Field Trips. Remember, I want every grade level have a trip that is "exclusive" to their grade. This gives students something to look forward to each year and it avoids "repeats". I need to approve all field trips before permission slips go home.

Two field trips per grade should be scheduled annually (Fall and Spring). The Mary Poppins performance and Nutcracker count as your Fall field trip.


Professional Development:

Time is ticking for you to secure your 2018-19 professional development hours. All PD must be done before May 15th. Remember, you are required to have completed 8 clock hours in your content area. This is a diocesan policy and contracts are contingent upon you meeting that obligation.
