Dear Ninety-One Community,
It's an exciting week at Ninety-One as we kick-off the Reading Olympics! See photos below capturing the enthusiasm and joy of reading!
Also, our After School Enrichment program is filling up fast. Please see information below (previously sent home in Friday Folders).
Ninety-One students do a great job playing at recess! Our field gets muddy when it rains and at times students need a fresh pair of flexible pants, or shorts. If you happen to be cleaning out closets, or your children have outgrown clothing that you could donate, please let Mr. Scheer know. Shoes are also appreciated! Thank you!
Speaking of Mr. Scheer, this week is Counselor Appreciation Week. We're having fun celebrating Mr. Scheer and thanking him for all of of his tremendous support at Ninety-One. Our theme is Donut Stress, our Counselor is the Best! See photos below of the many appreciation notes on donut shaped cut-outs. Thank you Mr. Scheer, we sure appreciate you!!
Also, this Friday is flannel or plaid day.
Go Bulldogs!
Warmly,
Joanna Tobin, Principal

Reading Olympics!!
The Ninety-One Reading Olympics are underway! Our students will have a chance to participate in the 91 Reading Olympics! This coincides with the opening ceremonies of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. The purpose of the Reading Olympics is to generate excitement for reading and to emphasize a reading culture at our school. It will end on February 25th.
Students will keep track of the minutes they read at home and will return their logs to Mrs. Tamimi or Ms. Hillyer as they reach their benchmarks and earn prizes for bronze, silver, gold and champion (kinder also has an extra easier level).
Thank you for supporting reading with us! Please encourage your students to participate and have fun “Going for Gold!”
Ninety-One Day!
