It was so wonderful seeing so many parents at both the Back-to-School BBQ and the Teacher Meet and Greet/Supply Drop Off today. I forget how lively these halls can be with the squeals and laughter present from the kiddos! They loved seeing their teachers and their friends...including many new students and we all loved seeing everyone back at the school!

We start back for the year on Tuesday, Sept. 5th. The schedule for this first day is from 8 am - noon, with drop off at 7:45 am and pick up by 12:15 pm. There is NO EXTENDED CARE (before or after school) on the first day. Beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 6th, we go back to our regular schedule of 8 am - 3 pm (for all grades) with drop off beginning at 7:45 am and pick up by 3:15 pm. Extended Care will be available beginning at 6:30 am and concluding at 6 pm. For extended care drop off and pick up procedures, see the section below.

It is going to be a fantastic year and we are so grateful to be working in partnership with all of you, as we help the kids grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally. Please don't hesitate to reach out to any of the teachers or staff, if we can be of assistance to you throughout the year.

• School Mass has been moved to Fridays this year. We will have Mass every Friday at 9 am. Everyone is welcome to attend!! You are welcome to sit with your child, but if you are going to do that, please arrive early and pick up your child so that we do not disrupt Mass once it has begun.
  
• Daily Mass will be available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for anyone who wants to come with their child. The mass will be at 7:15 am and students will be excused for a tardy if their parent checks them in late immediately after mass ends (if it is after 8).
• Spirit Day will be on THURSDAYS this year, since mass is on Fridays. On Spirit Day, students may wear a spirit shirt or sweatshirt with blue jeans. The order forms for Spirit Gear can be found at the front desk. The jeans should not be tight or have rips or tears. In the fall, students may wear a Seahawks shirt/jersey instead of the spirit shirt/sweatshirt. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday are full uniform days. Please make sure that your child has a sweater or vest for mass.

• Pull in front of the building and through the cul-de-sac.
• The asst. teacher will come out to the car and receive the child (or return your child), while the parent signs the drop off/pick up sheet.
• Please do not park in the front of the building, as you will not be able to get your car out during the drop off/pick up.
• If you would like to walk your child to/from the building, please park in the BACK parking lot (closest to the freeway wall) and walk your child to the front door between the house and the school (near the tire garden) and in the front door.

K - 8:

• Pull through the carpool lane and a teacher will be outside to watch your child. Children will exit the car and wait in the yellow-lined square next to the building.
  
• Do NOT drop off your child until an adult staff member is outside to watch your child/ren.
• If you want to walk your child/ren in to the school or wait with them, please park in one of the parking spaces and walk them across the parking lot. Children should not walk through the parking lot unattended.

Important Reminders:

• Drop off begins at 7:45 am. Before this time, students must be checked into Extended Care. Students arriving after 8 am will be marked tardy.

• Pick up is from 3 - 3:15. Students not picked up by 3:15 will be checked into Extended Care.
