Happy New Year! We hope you had a restful and fun Winter Break!

The PTA has many fun programs and events planned for the Spring Semester including Parent Education Coffee Chats, the Angel Bear Gifts for our Sister School (Katy JH), Fun Food Days, Teacher Appreciation Week, Walk/Bike to School Day, 8th Grade Dance and more!

All Beckendorff JH PTA members are invited to attend our January membership meeting on Tuesday, January 10 at 10:30 am in the school LGI.

We will be voting on budget amendments, choosing the Nominating Committee for officers for the 2023-2024 school year and discuss plans for the spring semester.

A Texas PTA Life Membership Award is one of the highest honors presented to an individual for outstanding service to our school.

Recipients should have contributed significantly to the work of the PTA or to the Beckendorff community.

The 88th session of the Texas Legislature opens January 10, 2023, and preparations are well underway for Texas PTA Rally Day on February 27th.

The Texas PTA has five lead priorities for this session: public school funding, vouchers, teacher & staff shortage & retention, student mental health, and the A-F accountability system. You can find the complete list of priorities and all the details on the links below.
