6th Grade Camp Edwards
It is finally here! We are headed to camp on Monday! Students will be coming home with a pink sheet with last minute details and reminders (none of which is new information).
Students should arrive to school at the regular time on Monday with their belongings. They will drop these off in the small gym and line up in their normal location. Students will return at approximately 2:00 on Wednesday, and they should be picked up from school at that time.
Exciting Events at Puffer this Week!

Safety Patrol
Thank you to all our 5th and 6th grade students who have volunteered to serve on safety patrol this year. This is a big commitment and an important job. Our patrol helps to ensure safe passage of all students as they travel to and from school. We really appreciate their dedication and the support of their parents as they transport early and pick up late! We ask that everyone, adults and students, please respect the directions of our patrol and the supervising staff when traveling to and from school. Thank you! Questions? Please contact Mr. Kupisch at akupisch@dg58.org
We Had Our First "Families" Event Today!
Today, we joined our families and welcomed all of our new family members to our groups. Students gathered on the blacktop on this beautiful day to cheer as families were called to take their group photo and head to their family meeting spot. As family members remain the same each year, we hope to have students from different grade levels develop a nice bond throughout their time here at Puffer.
A Message from Mrs. Peterson:
Please remember to send a note any time your child has a change of "going home" plans. If your child is going to a friend's house after school, both you and the parent of the friend should send notes. Thanks for helping us get our kids to where they need to go.
