Dear CES Family,

What a week it's been! Thanks so much for supporting our spirit week this week. The kids were really excited. Participating in these types of activities builds a great school community. I would like to thank the staff for leading the charge!

On another note, we are now seven weeks into the school year and deep into our instructional groove. Our thanks to those of you that were able to make it to our parent conferences last week. Please, stay in touch with us! Communication really is key. I also encourage you to utilize your student's Parent Portal account to stay up on important information regarding your student.

Trends! Some are great and others not so much. One of our students put an Orbeez in his ear this week and wound up having to be referred to the emergency room at Seneca Hospital in order to have it removed. If you're not aware, Orbeez and water beads are pretty popular at the moment and students are being influenced via social media to do some, well, dumb things with them.
