6th Grade Greek Day
Sixth-grade students and teachers enjoyed the annual Greek Day at RMS. It was a great way to end our week by seeing them immersed in the culture of Ancient Greece, wearing their chiton/toga and having different activities according to the Greek day in their classroom.

PRECIOUS MOMENTS WITH RMS MOMS
This week was our last day of RMS workshops, and we celebrated with an excellent breakfast. Our RMS Moms were great support for our school this year, fixing Choir dresses, helping the Folkloric group, and much more! During the Tech. Workshop, they learned a lot about google platforms, learned to verify students' grades with the Parent Portal, and helped their students to improve their grades with their support at home. It was a great group filled with love and camaraderie. I can't wait for future workshops next school year.
A special thanks to Mrs. Aurelia Dominguez for her guidance during the Sewing Club. We are thankful to her for sharing her experience, tips, and support.

Health and Safety Update
As a school community, we need your help to ensure that we can safely keep students in school and minimize the number of quarantines we might need. If there is a family that is waiting on the results of COVID tests, please keep your student home until the results come in. If your student is not feeling well, please don't send them to school.
Please refer to the VUSD COVID-19 Case Dashboard for updated information on COVID cases. The Dashboard is updated by 7:00 pm daily.
A few other reminders about protocols:
Notify us immediately if your child or any member of your household becomes ill with COVID-19.
Please keep your child home from school if they have ANY of the symptoms listed on the decision tree guidelines (fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea).
Have your child vaccinated. Remember, your child will not need to be quarantined if they come in close contact at school if they are fully vaccinated and asymptomatic. The vaccination will keep them in school and able to participate in all of the extracurricular activities like athletics, band, dance, ASB, etc.
If your child is quarantined, then they will receive support/connection with a VUSD Learning Support Teacher, via Zoom and email.
If your child is quarantined, they are to follow along in Canvas for their coursework.
If your child is fully vaccinated, they are NOT required to Quarantine at this time.
