TEACHER/DAYCARE CHRISTMAS GIFTS DUE THIS FRIDAY
The Christmas season is here and Trinity's Parent Council is once again asking you to please help us thank our hardworking and dedicated Trinity school teachers and childcare staff. We are asking you, our school families, to contribute whatever you can monetarily (cash, checks) in appreciation for the invaluable Christian education being provided to our children. A brief note of thanks or drawing will be equally appreciated.
Please drop your gifts in either the school office or daycare no later than THIS Friday, December 14 (envelopes are available in both locations for your convenience). Please include your child/children's name and use the handy checkboxes to specify the educator(s) for whom your gift is intended. If you have any questions, please reach out to either John or Liesl Ross (262-574-0402) who are coordinating this effort on behalf of the Parent Council.
Yours in Christ,
John and Liesl Ross

The staff salaries and food expenses are paid for solely by the funds collected for lunch. Any amounts in your student's lunch accounts that do not get used this year, will roll over into the next school year. You can monitor you students lunch balance and receive email alerts at a threshold of your choosing via Power School. Thank you for keeping positive balances in your student's lunch account!

HELP NEEDED TO REACH A MILLION SOULS THIS CHRISTMAS
Did you know our WELS congregations are working together (called C18) to aggressively reach a million souls this special season to learn more of the Savior Jesus under the theme: “A Light in the Darkness”? More importantly, we want our friends, relatives, neighbors, and co-workers to learn of Jesus as Savior to go to heaven. This season, your Trinity Evangelism Commission has purchased 4,000 invite cards and 150 lawn signs as tools to help our congregation reach many people in Waukesha County. These witness tools are intended to help YOU more easily share your Christian joy and faith with others. THIS week, take an invite card (or more) and share it with someone you know (your FRAN who is your: Friends, Relatives, Associates, Neighbors) or even put it up at your gym, place of work, grocery store, etc. to welcome them to Christmas services here.
Even share the Trinity Christmas Facebook post from this past week with others!
NEW THIS YEAR – take a full-color yard sign (and stand) and immediately put it up on your lawn inviting your neighbors to Trinity this Christmas. The signs are available by the piano in the Trinity Room. The signs are FREE, but just sign up if/when you take one (name/cell). Hang on to your sign and use it NEXT year. For more info, please speak with Evangelism chairman Brad Tildahl 262-203-1272 or Pastor Oelhafen 262-442-8568.
HELP OUR WAUKESHA NEIGHBORS WITH DONATIONS OF NON-PERISHABLES
The Board of Elders have placed large food barrels to collect food on Trinity’s Campus (located at the East and West entrances of church) as part of a larger Good Samaritan effort to directly support our Waukesha Food Pantry. From now until 12/27, please bring your non-perishable, non-expired food items (bring something you and your family would like to eat such as cereal, canned foods, mac & cheese, etc. – a complete list is on the barrels) to help feed our 1200 hungry neighbors who come to the Pantry every week. Contact Elder Linus Bell for more info: 262-501-0546. Our Savior Jesus has told us: “Love one another” (John 13:34). Will you help us help our neighbors?
