Teacher Appreciation Week!

The PTO has a full week of fun ways that students and families can recognize the Shadow Hill Staff during Teacher Appreciation Week. Click on this flyer: Teacher Appreciation Week, to view the plan. Feel free to come up with your own special way to recognize the staff members that work with your kids. Of course, participation is optional. Have fun!

Shadow Hills Elementary School

We are a PK-6th Public Elementary School in Boise, Idaho! We serve the community of NW Boise and parts of Eagle and Garden City. We have excellent community support for our outstanding teachers and staff! Thank you!

The Boise School District complies with federal law (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) as it relates to the release of student directory information to the public. To learn more, log on to www.boiseschools.org and navigate to Parents & Patrons > Parent Information > FERPA Form. Or, please call the Clerk of the Board at 208-854-4123 to obtain a copy of the FERPA form.

ATTENDANCE REMINDERS

As we remain virtual, attendance procedures still apply as if all students were in-person at Shadow Hills.


If your child is going to be absent or late logging in to school, please call our office at 208-854-6060. You may call during non-working hours and leave a message on our voicemail. If your student has an appointment during school hours, please scan (or take a picture of) and email a written school excuse from the doctor, dentist, etc. to julie.yetso@boiseschools.org. Thank you!

Do you miss volunteering in your child’s class? Are you looking for a socially-distanced way to help out? Check out the Shadow Hills Elementary Wish List. The needs of our school, teachers, and students are changing quickly this year. The Shadow Hills Elementary Wish List contains an up to date list of the items the teachers need most – like hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes. Please consider donating these essential items to the school.


See the attached flyer for information on the PTO Papa John’s fundraiser. Our school code is valid for the entire school year and valid at all locations in the Treasure Valley, so friends and family can help support our school, too! Papa John’s is donating 20% to the PTO!
