Classroom News and Reminders
Students needs to complete the daily check-in each morning. I need to know that students are up and ready to work. This is how I take attendance each day. The remote learning day is not a day off from school. The students are responsible for completing the assigned work in Google Classroom by the end of the day. I publish a schedule each week to help keep the students on track. Please have a conversation at home about the importance of working hard on remote days.
Remote Day Communication-
I have students in my classroom everyday. Please feel free to send me messages via Dojo, but know that there may be a delay in getting a response. If you have a technology problem you can fill out the technology help request form on the WES SMORE. This may be the quickest way to get help.
Assignment Books-
Your child will bring home an assignment book each day he/she attends school. I try to include as much information each week that I can. Please know that a lot of what we write is a blanket statement or reminder for the whole class. If you have already completed the task, returned the paperwork or submitted the information, just check it off in the assignment book. Please initial the assignment book after you have looked at it and made sure that everything is completed.
At School Days-
Please send a water bottle with your child each day. The water bottle fillers are open, but the drinking fountains are closed. Wearing a mask does make you thirsty and it is important to have water available.
Don't forget your attestation form!
