Lombard District 44 Update
Monthly News from Lombard District 44
New Year, New Look for Lombard District 44
Earlier this school year, all District 44 staff members had the opportunity to join a "D44 Family" group. With 44 families in total, each one was charged with coming up with a new logo that symbolizes the district's vision and the goals contained in the newly adopted strategic plan.
Every family submitted a design, and the District 44 Board of Education was asked to narrow down the pool to a set of five finalists. Those final designs were then pushed out for a vote by all staff, and this was the selected design.
"The logo represents truly what we stand for in Lombard District 44: celebrating the growth of every student and helping them plant firm roots to succeed in life beyond our classrooms," said Superintendent Ted Stec.
5 Essentials: Please Take 10 Minutes to Complete
All school districts in Illinois are required to annually administer the Illinois 5 Essentials Survey. This survey is open to all District 44 families.
Please click here to complete the survey today for each school where you have a student enrolled.
Each of our schools and the district will use information gathered from the survey results to help identify areas of strength and areas for improvement. Please know the identity of respondents and their survey responses will be kept completely confidential.
The survey is not long and should only take about 10 minutes to complete. Thank you for taking the time to share with us your critical feedback.
