ST. MARY PHOENIX NEWS
January 25, 2019
Mrs. Marvin's Corner
This Sunday, January 27th, students from St. Mary School will be opening our Catholic Schools Week festivities by speaking at the Sunday masses about St. Mary School. We will conclude the week at the Saturday evening Mass on February 2nd at 5:00PM. Students will be leading the mass. All students who attend Saturday Mass will receive a "Dress Down Pass". Please help us close Catholic Schools Week by attending Mass with us.
Following up with Fr. Steve's talk about St. Mary School on the weekend of December 8th and 9th, at all of the masses, we have partnered with the College of Wooster and are working with them to help us collect data about our school and the surrounding schools in our community. We will be asking families and parishioners to help us collect data on our school by completing an online survey. In the next week we will be emailing families and parishioners the Link to complete the survey developed by students from the College of Wooster in conjunction with members of our School and Parish regarding the school. Your participation and input is vital to the success of the survey. All responses are completely anonymous and we "Thank You" in advance for your input. Please take the time to answer the questions as honestly as you can. We will be including a Link to the survey next week in our newsletter.

The St. Mary Story
Since 1865, people have known St. Mary School students by their actions. This is because throughout our history, we have focused on building student’s character, based on the values instilled by the Catholic Faith, and a foundation of academic excellence.
St. Mary School provides a welcoming environment where families have the freedom to celebrate the faith. In a world of need, responsibility matters and strength is needed to serve our communities. It is our mission to develop students who have the ability to be mentors and leaders in the world. We recognize that each student is a unique gift from God and we individualize instruction to help them reach their full potential. We strive to promote an atmosphere that encourages a love of learning and provides children with a foundation of faith to balance and guide them for the rest of their lives.
